First & Last is one of my go-to cafe spots. It's convenient to get to from where I live (right off the subway), has good coffee (and tasty sandwiches),
and good vibes all around.
It has a very cozy atmosphere, nice baristas, and very indie decor. There's not tons of seating inside, but it's well laid out
for a blend of socializing and solo time. Out the window there's a nice view of the residential surroundings, accompanied by the luscious trees lining
the streets. Having a drink and staring blankly out the window is a top pasttime.
They do have a new-ish back patio that looks pretty from their pictures. But I haven't been yet.
Love their breakfast sammy. Kinda expensive so only as a treat.
